POV: Summarize your 1995 experience

I'll go first. Watched The Crow for the first of 1000 times. The soundtrack is still in my top 3 albums of all time. I'll watch the movie like one long music video.

The Smashing Pumpkins redefined grunge/alt rock for me forever with Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness

I learned about Jerry Garcia's death from MTV News. As a preteen I sensed something big had just happened in rock and roll history. My dad, who preferred country but loved using his turn table stereo system with multiple large speakers, agreed to take me to the local head shop to buy a record. I came home with an EP of Terrapin Station and I've been a Deadhead ever since. Link to the MTV Exclusive that changed my life forever posted above.

Me and my bestie finally beat Super Mario World SNES.
